The honest version: sound is not an energy source. What it can do is mark a change of state — and that is often exactly what is missing.

Sound is not an energy source. A frequency supplies the body with nothing, replaces no sleep, no meal and no movement. What is supported — and what is not
The evidence base here is thinner than for relaxation and anxiety, and that should be said openly.
- Supported: that alert states go along with higher Beta activity in EEG. That is a description, not an instruction.
- Weak and inconsistent: that alertness or performance can be increased by binaural beats in the Beta range. Individual studies on attention effects exist, results are mixed and effects small.
- Not supported: that frequencies eliminate tiredness, stimulate metabolism, supply "life energy" or replace caffeine. Such claims are common — they have no scientific basis.
Put most honestly: the benefit here arises mainly through ritual and conditioning, not through the physics of the tone. A sound that plays every morning at the same time becomes a waking signal itself after a few weeks — just as the smell of coffee does for many people, long before the caffeine takes effect.

Which frequency wakes you up?
